Welcome to Eurachem 2018

On behalf of Eurachem Ireland and the Eurachem Education & Training Working Group, we are delighted to warmly invite you to the Eurachem 2018 scientific workshop and general assembly in Dublin Castle. The scientific workshop “Data – Quality, Analysis and Integrity” takes place on May 14th and 15th, with the General Assembly from May 16th to 18th.

Eurachem is a network of organisations in Europe having the objective of establishing a system for the international traceability of chemical measurements and the promotion of good quality practices. It provides a forum for the discussion of common problems and for developing an informed and considered approach to both technical and policy issues. It provides a focus for analytical chemistry and quality related issues in Europe.

Over the centuries, those entertained at Dublin Castle have included Benjamin Franklin (1771), the Duke of Wellington (1807), Daniel O’Connell (1841), Queen Victoria (1849, 1853, 1861 & 1900), Charles Dickens (1864), Countess Markievicz (1905), Princess Grace of Monaco (1961), John F. Kennedy (1963), Charles de Gaulle (1969), Nelson Mandela (1990) and Queen Elizabeth II (2011). We look forward to welcoming you to this stunning venue in 2018.
